We have scored more in one game than they (villa) have in the last seven home games apparently.

Lovely stat prawnman. **thumbup

There is a difference in the quality of the leagues

...and also a difference in the quality of how the two clubs play the game.

Well said. **thumbup

Looks like we need teams to go down to 9 men to win an away game

that glass is still half empty?

King79 keeps his glass empty at all times ....believe me

He's one of the happier characters on here :LMAO:

No worries

We will take care of Reading on the last day at SA ........a win that day might even seal automatic promotion :applause:

What is going on at Coventry and Forest ??......they both could have done us a favour today .....both lost to Derby and Southampton ....Coventry lost 0-1 again ......Thorn and Cotterill out :D

Good win by Burnley though.......away at Boro ....and Doncaster prevented Cardiff from taking all the points

Well Coventry have the issue that they've just sold their only half decent striker (he had almost half of their goals this season on his own) and their next highest scorer is McSheffrey on 3 goals, and even the Cov fans I know reckon he's awful.

Forest have a similar problem, they've only scored against Ipswich since the start of November.

I love Tommy Ross' comment when Nathan Redmond scored our sixth goal.

"Game, Set and Match" according to Tommy when it's 0 - 6 to Blues.

Bold call there Tommy.

I would imagine he thought he was being witty by dropping in a tennis reference.

I think its now 13 goals against this mob in 12-13 months?

Also Blues first double against them since the 1940's

He's right actually

1946/47 was when we did the double and in fact that was the first season we ever played them

Millwall didn't join the Football League until 1921 (joined the old 3rd Div South) and Blues enjoyed their longest ever top flight spell between the two World Wars.....1921-1939 to be exact.....days of Harry Hibbs and Joe Bradford

Millwall's only ever stint in the top division was 1988-1990

We do have two notable victories over them however

We beat them in the Play Off semi final on a 2-1 aggregate (Hail Stern John) in 2002 and we also pipped them to promotion in 1972 on the very last day of that season

Blues won 1-0 at Leyton Orient and Millwall fans were at that match in force causing trouble and even trying to get the game abandoned with a pitch invasion in the 2nd half and a bomb scare before kick off
